Whistler Live!

Town Plaza programming features local singer/songwriters and family entertainment, while street performers rove the Village and storytellers weave tales at dusk

Town Plaza, by Caramba and the Gap, is the place to celebrate Whistler’s home-grown music and arts scene every day during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Town Plaza will become the local’s living room with kids’ crafts, children’s entertainers, interactive art displays, local musicians playing acoustic sets, artists painting live and the OMEGA Bobsled that completes the picture perfect moment.

From a list of over 60 musicians who submitted to the Whistler Arts Council’s Artist Registry, the programming team chose a selection of solo artists, duos and acoustic bands to play alongside the live artists during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. This selection does not include full bands, which are set to be announced for the Village Square Stage during the Paralympics. Local singer/songwriters include:
